you know, really, we've grown. So, so much. I was just reading the old entries on this blog, and on your blogs, on my own blog. From our expectations of NJ, to orientation, to the maelstrom that is the true NJ. we did okay, I think. I think we've all become better people. I mean at CNY, last year, I thought that this was stress:
"and my cny is so un-cny-y, i have a)SPIRE reflection b)one more SPIRE lit evaluation c)MA1102(the only thing i don't actually mind doing) d)LA(SHEEKS how i don't even have the paper cos i lent it to chenxi!)"
I couldn't stop laughing when i saw that. SPIRE REFLECTION?
...and this
"LA was...weird.but somehow we all lived through it.IH was hilarious, when that sotong mohammed went and said that the reason he traded was to "satisfy his wants" which was sick. and sherlene the laughing sotong went and drank water and she couldn't stop laughing and water started spilling out of her mouth and then she suddenly spat it out on the floor! and then mr ho was like, WAHH! TKGS! the kinky girls' school! and he was all like, terrorists see these TKGS girls don't want to have a war already!" it was hilarious. until i dropped my foolscap into sherlene's "puke" which was kinda sick but OHWELL.
AND OMG THIS IS THE CHERRY ON TOP OF THE CAKE I SAY: station games were fun and very messy, though i totally freaked out when i was paired with samad in this game where you're supposed to link elbows back to back and run in circles and i was paired with samad and omg, instead of us running he totally lifted me off and sent me flying around, which made me disgustingly giddy. talk about enthu-ness.
HAHA poor Sam! Thankfully you became quite normal after that. (:
Anyway see what I mean about us growing up? About us seeing the world in a new way, a different way, maybe even a better way? I don't know what 2008 will bring, but I sure know that 2007 has been a KingdaKa Rollercoaster ride for us- with SMP and LDP and Senoko and OM and FPSP and SYF and Germany Exchanges and Japan Exchanges and Vietnam CIP and Maldives CIP and Concerts and everything else, on top of the incredibly incredible IP2 syllabus. And I'm proud of each and every single one of us for surviving, and for surviving it as a class. I'm so grateful to have 24 fantastic friends around me every single day, and thank you guys for making a difference-a HUGE difference- in my life these past two years. So no matter what 2008 brings, we'll survive.
